I think I've seen Mencken's exact words quoted by a character in a novel - "a normal man could be happy with any one of at least two dozen women of his acquaintance". Perhaps the two writers thought exactly alike?
As is the case with Section 15, the opening silence will need to be longer - 0.5 to 1.00 second - and the total length of the file will need to be adjusted in the MW (I can do that). Otherwise, it is a perfect PL OK.
That's ok. (I'm going to be here a bit more sporadic for a bit. My mother is currently in the hospital.) I'll still be checking in at least once a day, though).

Here is Chapter 15 with between 0.5 and 1.0 second before the recording. I have recorded in 16 books since joining in February 2017 and this is the first time anyone has asked that the silence before recording be at least 0.5 second. I have no problem with that, of course, but I would point out that the instruction in this regard reads: "No more than 0.5 to 1.0 second of silence at the beginning of recording!", i.e., it does not rule out silence of less that 0.5 second. The instruction should be revised to read: "Silence at the beginning of recording should be no less than .05 or more than 1.0 second in length."

Thanks Shasta. I had not read that instruction carefully enough and I'm sorry for having given you some trouble. Ironically, I just had to add a second and a half to the section I just uploaded to get a PL OK.
Thank you Shasta. Do you like Ade? The delightful Frank Muir (British humorist) introduced me to some of George Ade's "unforgettable phrases"' (and I may as well remind you of a couple while I'm at it):
"She was a town-and-country soprano of the kind often used for augmenting the grief at a funeral".
"The music teacher came twice a week to bridge the awful gap between Dorothy and Chopin".
