Hi Amy-
I apologize for doing this without doing a minute test first! I simply couldn't find the page where the minute test is described, so I decided to jump right in. I just found the minute test page as I was preparing to upload this cleaned file.
Your suggestions for cleaning the file were great. I really appreciate them!

I think I managed to apply them, all except for the distant echoey quality to the recording. I have been trying to deal with that ever since I started using my office as a studio. I first went out and spent $200 on acoustic foam and pasted it to the walls, to the horror of my wife who thinks I ruined the paint job of my office. I first used two-sided tape to affix the foam to the wall and the foam just fell off. Then I bought spray glue to affix it. If I had waited to get some acoustic foam shipped I could have bought it cheaper, and the amount that I bought wasn't enough to cover all the walls, and barely helped. This was done before I made this recording, as I have put some auditions up at ACX (Audible). But now I think it's not the walls but the dormer style windows which make echoey boxes right near where I am doing the recording. I could either try hanging blankets or moving the studio down into the basement and seeing what happens there. I think that before I go the hanging blankets route I will try the basement, as at least I will know if it's the room or the equipment.
Anyway here's the cleaned up file-

Again, any comments are appreciated. I am going to work on the echo issue before I upload anything else.
