Thank youkmemmons wrote: ↑July 28th, 2018, 8:42 pm Sorry about the delay. Had a major laptop failure. Managed to rebuild the hard drive and get operational. I've uploaded my earlier recording. https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/goldlands_01_wentworth_128kb.mp3
Length is 14:28.
Do you mind taking a listen and giving feedback on it before I try to do any more edits?

PL notes:
at 82.9 your volume is low, please increase it to 86. It's a very easy fix in Audacity.
Special note: you should issue a warning: Before listening BYOT (bring your own tissues). Incredible job.

For future reference, this was not a simple case of amplifying the file as there were a couple of peaks preventing this (loud spots). It's still fairly easy to fix, but can involve some tweaking to get it right. Of course, Phil has a video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fKYYj6HMZU

Thank you, Lynnet, for cleaning up the volume and for this video tip! I will use that the next time I record.Lynnet wrote: ↑August 6th, 2018, 8:52 am For future reference, this was not a simple case of amplifying the file as there were a couple of peaks preventing this (loud spots).
