sect 12 Diamonds and Toads

08:16 "MISTAKE MISTAKE" (I believe this is a verbal note to yourself).

08:18 Please remove (I believe this is the mistake you referred to) "But the snakes and toads did not come again, for the stepsisters and their mother were very kind to every one ever after."

You repeated the corrected sentence.

I need you to reduce the silence to 5 seconds.

You are a great story teller.

I have made the following corrections:
I used the compressor to even out the volume a bit.
I ran noise cleaning.
I cut the "mistake, mistake" and repeated phrase (the wrong version!)
I reduced the end silence.

Section 20 has many edits needed and the reader seems to have disappeared. I hate to ditch recordings -- we all know how much work goes into making them, especially for new readers; but the reader has had since February and we are getting close to completion, so I am going to have to be strict. If I have not received a corrected file by this evening, I will orphan it.

No, the compressor just makes loud bits quieter and quiet bits louder I'll look for the mistake again
