Wow--we're almost done! My email notifications quit on me again, so I haven't kept up... Great job, everyone! I can't wait to hear it all put together! :9:

One note on the pronunciation issue in chapter 7--the word is actually supposed to be "coupe" (a kind of carriage), not "coup" (a military takeover). It's not spelled correctly in the Gutenberg text, but I'm not sure if that's a mistake or supposed to be a childish mispronunciation. In either case, I think the pronunciation with the "p" is closer to what it should be, but I don't know if this is a big enough deal to bother with. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Looking forward to hearing the final product!

Well it wasn't possible to remove it cleanly in editing so it is still there anyway!

The Preface text is all PL OK - is this file going to have the Dramatis Personae added to it?

Okay, so I was trying to download the dramatis personae and the preface in order to paste them together on Audacity. However, the dramatis personae won't download, and I don't understand why. :hmm:

Angela, do you still have the dramatis personae file on your computer? Could you re-upload it for us?

I'm afraid I didn't PL the dramatis personae file. Maybe Elizabby would still have it? :?

Hi Tiffany, since you have the DP all done (I remember checking it) would it be simplest for you to add the Preface to the front of this file, from the link on the previous page of the project thread?

Here it is again: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/oldfashionedgirl_preface_narrator.mp3

The final file will still need to be "00", and should end up about 5 mins long.

I've had a listen, and the text is correct but I think the second disclaimer needs to come out. I'll find the time stamp if I can but it's around 2:38.

Yes, I believe that's right. (Right, Tricia?) There just needs to be the one combined "Preface and Dramatis Personae" dislaimer at the beginning.
