Thanks so much for the fast turnaround on these orphans.
Chapters 20 and 21 are PL OK
One note for Section 22:
At about 11:45 Repeat: His mother was not an unhappy woman he said when she had plenty of snuff and moonshine whiskey.
There also seems to be some sort of audio distortion on this recording. I'm not enough of a sound engineer to know what it is -- just that it sounds strained, and there is some ringing sound at times, somewhat like I get with too much noise removal. This is nothing that would not make it okay, but I mention it just as a point of interest for you.
On the road again, so delays are possible

Larry:
Here is the link for the corrected Section 22. Its duration is now 16:40.
I plead guilty on both counts. I have been reading heavily the last week or so. (I'm still in speech therapy following my March concussion, but those sessions are scheduled to end at the end of the month, because I'm pretty well back to normal.) The speech therapist wanted to see how my voice held up under heavy usage. I had just finished the last of the long tasks she set for me when I adopted these orphans. Early on, I found it necessary to do a little more sound engineering than usual (phil c's videos were a tremendous help), but for this one I got interrupted in the middle of my editing session and didn't make a quick note of what I had done. So I started over from the beginning.
If this one is ok, I promise not to let that happen again. If it isn't, after a couple of days rest, I'll re record it...with apologies for making you listen to #1.
Many thanks,
Philip

Oh, my! That sounds like quite an ordeal, Phillip! I trust you will have a full and complete recovery in all areas.
Absolutely no need to record anything again. Your reading style fits well in this volume, and I appreciate your finishing it off with these orphans more than I can say. So, rest your voice, my friend.
Now, Sonia can cross this one off her list.
Thanks, Sonia.

Sonia:
Thanks so much for your kindness. I've been librivoxing through it (thanks to the wonders of Audacity)...but it's good to finally be returning to normal. (been a long 3 months).
Larry, another one in the catalog thanks to your leadership! Bravo.
Many thanks,
Philip
