We have a very handy free tool written by the husband of one of our admins just for Librivox. It checks the volume and various other technical specs. I run all my files through it. https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

Thank you very much! Ok i have run the checker and the file has passed. Volume is 88.3 dB, should it be 89.2? Or is the volume ok? Thanks

Hi Monk -

88.3 is just fine. It has to be over 86 db and under 92 db I believe... The Checker is what I use too.

Section 12: I have just one item for your attention:
12:15 to 12:22 I heard "End of The Golden Gems of Life, by Emory Adams Allen S.C. Ferguson" This should only appear in the last section of the book (section 102). You can just delete the sentence and resubmit the file with the new recording length and it should be good to go.
