ok, everything is shipshape now - i'll do the dedication as a separate file at the start and that'll be 'section 0'.
kaffen: i have put you down, but note that you are down for sections 12 and 13 in the new numbering scheme (which is staying how it is now, i promise...)
as for the ID3 tags part of your post, good question. record each section as a single file, and put as the ID3 title the section title as it appears in the magic box. e.g. section 12's ID3 title should read 'Book IV: Chapters 4-6'.

Wait! Please don't use Roman numerals in your id3 tags -- they won't sort properly! Use Arabic numerals instead, with leading zeros, e.g.
Book 04: Chapters 04-06
This is VERY important. It'd be best to change the titles in your Magic Window so your readers can just copy/paste the proper title into the title tag.
And to be merciful to folks with small mp3 player screens (e.g. me) , I'd change it to
Bk 04: Ch 04-06

Oh, thank you so much Kara! I hadn't even thought of that.

I'm halfway through a LONG solo book. If it begins to pall on me again, I may come back for more!
