42 minutes ! What a feat. And this story was so interesting to listen to. I can imagine it was rough times in the beginning for this diplomat to deal with such a hostile tribe.neecheelok70 wrote: ↑February 7th, 2018, 5:46 pmHere is 137:

PL ok. Flawless reading
Jim, thank you so much for this (and all your other sections). For the moment we are fully claimed and quite near the finishing line. So you can already mentally prepare for our next voyage. In the next book we'll travel westward towards India and Mesopotamia. Stay tuned !
Sonia
flawless reading as well, Tomas. Thank you so much for these three sections. All three PL ok.
Only 15 sections left to finish. We really did this quite fast, considering how many sections there were. I'm happy this project is appealing to so many of you.

And Todd says "don't turn your back..." Ok, now, really off recording for a competitor

thank you so much for your section. It is nicely narrated and easy to understand. Also no errors at all. No problem marking it PL ok right away.engineerSTL wrote: ↑February 18th, 2018, 8:17 pmSection 51 complete and ready for review.

Shocking that the friars were all killed by the emperor all of a sudden
Looking forward to your other sections

ah a new section, thank you I like the way you so solemnly start Corvino's narrative. Really sounds like you are in character. Nicely read too, but could you please correct the following two small notes:engineerSTL wrote: ↑February 19th, 2018, 9:44 pm Section 52 ready for review.

> you have over two seconds of silence at the beginning, which sounds a bit long for my taste. Usually we have 0.5-1 second which would be enough in my opinion

thank you

yes thank you, this is excellent now and PL ok. Although you missed the 3 digits (052) in the filename this time around. I just noticed that your other file also missed the 0. But no need to reupload, I can change the filenames later on, since there are no other errors. Just be careful to name your last claimed section with the added 0.engineerSTL wrote: ↑February 20th, 2018, 9:57 pm Made the necessary corrections on section 52.

wonderful readings, yet again, Ava As you can imagine I was especially interested in the language section. I had to laugh with the "rice"- problem Yes, for such an important word in the Japanese culture, I would have thought they have multiple names. It's like "snow" for the inuit.
I think one can easily learn the grammar of a language, but to really get into the correct use of vocabulary, one needs to be immersed deeply into the day-to-day life and culture, which only happens after spending a lot of time with the people.
Both sections PL ok. Thanks !
Sonia
