ok now I know something about a part of history that was previously totally unknown to me. Excellently narrated ! Thanks.

On the whole, the section is textually totally flawless, but I'd like you to cut out two things at the beginning please:

> at 0:42: “editor’s note” can be cut out, just read the note as such and say “the editor” afterwards, as you also did

> at 0:58: “end of footnote” can also be cut out.
This is not one of the footnotes I meant in my special reading notes under Point 2. There are not that many footnotes in the text and they are pointed out by numbers.

thanks

Hot mic!

why was your mic so hot ? because you recorded so much in one go ? :?

Well, this ceremony was quite interesting. I don't think I would have liked an audience with a taikun in Japan though, I am not a big fan of such strict ceremonial rules and constraints

Excellent recording again and PL ok.

Thanks

Thanks, Todd

finally had time to listen to the story. Very interesting and excellently narrated

Only one small detail missing at the end: you forgot to say "End of Section 140". The rest was totally flawless.

yes indeed, must have been hard for the kids to learn all this Confucius by heart  But interesting to hear about it.

Only heard one strange word:

> at 2:49: (p. 211): “At first they oblige” – I hear “uphedge” if I'm not mistaken :hmm: can you have a listen once again maybe ?

The rest is fine :) Thanks

perfectly read again, thank you ! The ending was SO tragic, when this uncaring guy hung up his hat  I can understand how crushed the artist must have felt.

Only one thing is the ending silence which ends quite abruptly at 2 seconds, instead of the usual standard 5 seconds. Could you add some 3 seconds there please ? Thanks

Sonya, section 3 is PL OK. Eloquent statement for an introduction and read perfectly. And thank you for the 2 paintings; they were remarkable! Jim
