I would like to claim Section 11, "The Franklin's Tale," if you please.

This is my first recording (I've already been through the 1-min test process), and it would be lovely if my username (natedela) and website (writehandediting.com) appeared in the Librivox catalogue when all is said and done.

If I don't hear otherwise, I'll start recording tomorrow. Thanks!

Thanks Steve! I should be able to PL that today or tomorrow.

(There's no recording around here at the moment with flooding rain on a tin roof!)

If you've completed the upload that's great!

Now you need to take the link that the uploader gives you and post it to the "Listeners and Editors" forum for checking.

If you've lost the link just upload it again. Then check back for comments to fine tune your setup!

excellently narrated again, Beth ! Couldn't find any errors, but the volume is a bit below 86 dB (only 85.7) Maybe amplify a little bit ? :hmm:

Nice voice-change for the old crone ;)

I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

I amplified the file by 2dB and reuploaded - I've marked it PL OK as it's the same file, so you don't need to do anything with it.

Unfortunately, the "old crone" voice is how I sound most of the time now! That part was the easiest to record - the rest was much more difficult as I keep having to drink tea to keep my voice sounding "normal". Then I need a bathroom break, so only short recordings for me these days! ;)

Sonia, can you please have a look in your folder and see if you have this new reader's test recording? I don't think the link has been posted anywhere.

well, just to be on the safe side, I checked the volume once again and yes, it's PL ok indeed.

oh, hoarse from the cold weather ? I thought you had summer-temperatures right now down under ? Well I hope your voice is back to normal soon. Don't strain it too much.

:hmm: no, I just checked, no test file by this reader in my folder, sorry.
