Christmas carols; old English carols for Christmas and other festivals
by Walter, L. Edna (Lavinia Edna); Broadwood, Lucy Etheldred, d. 1929; Hartley, J.
H., ill
Publication date 1922
Thank you, Matt! I enjoyed listening to this, as you included all the verses that we don't usually get to hear. It is almost PL OK, except that the volume is a bit high. If you could reduce it by about -1 db, it would be perfect.

Thanks, Mary! The recording is lovely, all specs are fine, and it ought to be PL OK. But I'll hold off marking it as such for now, because it's still missing the link to the source you used. (I'm so absent-minded that once it's marked PL OK, I'll forget all about adding that missing link to the data!)

This is a carol I've never heard before, a very nice addition to the collection. I know this melody from a different hymn, but I never knew that it also had Christmas lyrics!

Thank you, Philip, for both of these carols! They are both better than merely ok, being absolutely PL OK as well as hunky-dory!
