Dave -

Here's section 20. As you'll see, it's very long (75:15)- too long? I could divide it if necessary.

Fair enough - it didn't half go on! (I have to admit I'm beginning to find the book a bit tedious . . . )

Anyway, here are:

Section 20 (Chapter 20, part 1) - 39:12

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/mr ... _128kb.mp3

Section 21 (Chapter 20, part 2) - 36:28

20-21 PL OK.

The audio files are fine but the file names should have the section numbers not the chapters numbers. They could be re-uploaded with the numbers, 20 and 21, respectively or possibly Tricia could change the file names of the files.

As long as the file URLs in the MW point to the audio files, they're easily changed at cataloging time. :)

Tricia / Dave -

I hope the numbering of files is OK. Chapter 21 is another long one and I've split it so here are:

Section 22 (being part 1 of Chapter 21) - 25:17 -

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/mrprohack_21a_bennett_128kb.mp3

Sectrion 23 (part 2 of Chapter 21) - 23:55 -

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/mrprohack_21b_bennett_128kb.mp3

I've added 2 more new sections for the moment.

Hope that's clear!

The numbering is OK for now; they will be changed to the section numbers at cataloging time, so if you split more sections, you might as well number them with the section number. :)

Here's Chapter 22 (in 2 parts)

Section 24 (27:35)

Section 25 (27:33)

Almost there . . .

Tricia -

I need to log in to add an introduction to the book - but I can't see how to do this now. Help, please!

Thanks

Dave -

Here's section 26 (24:16):

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/mrprohack_23_bennett_128kb.mp3

I'm not sorry to reach the end. I don't think it's a particularly successful book - clearly Bennett was trying something different - and it doesn't really come off. I think he lost interest towards the end and wondered how to end it!

Anyway, I'm on the look out for my next effort: possibly another one by William John Locke. If you - and Tricia of course - would be prepared to work with me again, that would be good! :)

You can add a new section by clicking the Add New Section button when you're in the MW, but only your MC can make it section #0. 8-) Done!

I'll also need an intro/summary to go to catalog. :)

Sorry, Tricia - I was unclear - I meant that I needed to add an intro to go at the top (above the Magic Window). (I thought I could do this myself.)

So I don't need a Section 0 (which can be deleted).

Here's an intro which I hope will do the trick:

"Mr Prohack, an ordinary official in the Treasury and leading a hum-drum life, suddenly and unexpectedly inherits a large sum of money which, with a lucky investment, he turns into a fortune. This humorous book follows his progress and that of his wife, son and daughter who all, in their different ways, slowly get used to their new lives."
