Hi! May I give a shot at #1 Rio Grande's Last Race? I'm a newbie and this will be my first recording, but I'm really loving this poet. I apologize in advance for not having a gruff Australian accent - that would be an awesome thing to hear this read in.
Thanks!

Woot! I'm going by 'eringrassie'. I'm realizing that most people go by some clever pseudonym... maybe I'll just be boring for now. I'm waiting on a second check of my 1 minute test. I had a few settings wrong and have fixed them. Just need to find a spare few minutes to make my wee sound absorbing box for my desk and do a second recording. I'll wait till I'm 100% vetted before I post on your project. Happiest and safest of Holidays to you and yours.

Hi Carolin! Can I start with Section 2: By the Grey Gulf-water, please?
I'd love to read the poem "With the Cattle" (Section 3) - I really like it and its rhythm - but that poem is supposed to be just 8 paragraphs long: 4 paragraphs are set during the drought and 4 after it's over.
After the 8th paragraph is a new poem entitled "The First Surveyor". That poem may sound better if read by a female - considering the repeated reference to 'my husband'. But if it's ok, I don't mind reading that too; I really would like to read "With the Cattle".
