Yes, definitely, show me your new magic powers with ReaFIR!
Nope, I'm not smart enough to do this  Tried and failed. It isn't that important anyway. Just a bit of fun.

So, just hoping to replace the original text link with this: https://fromtroublesofthisworld.wordpress.com/2014/12/10/sonnet-vii-by-hartley-coleridge/
without having to re-upload the mp3 file too.

Thanks again Rapunzelina

I found the copy of Fraser's Magazine, but couldn't ascertain who the translator was. :hmm:

Thank you, Erin, Fritz, Tony and Bubba!
MW is updated!

A special welcome to Tony for his first contribution to the Poetry collections  It was a moving experience for me to listen to your rendition of this poem. Thank you!
This is your page in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/reader/12088 It lists all projects you've been involved in, so it might look a bit empty now, but I'm sure it will fill up soon!! You'll notice the "Reader section details" link below your name; from there you can keep track of your ongoing sections (assigned/pl notes/pl ok/etc).

And a special encouragement to Bubba! Maybe it just takes practice and you'll make it some time soon!

Don't worry if it doesn't state the translator! One of the main reason to have that information (apart from just having our database updated) is to determine the PD status for countries with Author death date copyright laws. In the case of an unknown author/translator, it's just considered PD - for example 70 years after publication, instead of 70 years after the author's death (or something like that).

Thank you for your patience, everybody!

So, let's see!

Thank you, Craig, for your two additional contributions!

Thank you, Sonia, for the laugh

Tony! Thank you for your second contribution! It's really good!

Oh, and we have yet another new voice addition to the Poetry collections! Welcome, Yasmin! Congratulations on your very first Librivox recording! :D
I'll just note that I would work more on the background noise. Do you live in a generally noisy place? Sometimes it happens that the background noise steals from the overall sound quality. It doesn't affect understanding so it's still fine. Just something to be aware of when recording, in case it's something you can avoid, or something that can be fixed with the "Noise Reduction" feature in Audacity.
So, how would you like to be credited in the catalogue? This can be the same as your forum name, or it can be a different name.

And thank you, Philip!
If my post resembles The Thanksgivings poem, it's because I am thankful to all of you for your lovely contributions :9:

Hi Rapunzelina!
I'd like to be credited under my forum name please. Here is my new recording of Amid the Roses

I made a lot of effort to reduce background noise. I hope it's better now.

Thank you, Tony! A touching poem, and very appropriately read!

Hello Yasmin! Thank you for working on the background noise! Yes, it is better! And yes, it is sometimes a lot of effort to try to remove noise that has been recorded (and kudos to you for making it!), so the best practice is to try to avoid it if possible!
