I'm a new newbie in search of first PL to complete. I finished the PL intro and quiz.

I'm interested in the PL of section 11 "The Racing of an Avalanche..." if its still available.

Thanks in Advance and I welcome any feedback on the right way to take on PL(s).

Welcome!
We have a shortage of proof listeners, so if this is a job that suits you, there will be as much 'work' as you want 8-)
Claiming a single section, such as this, is a good way to get your feet wet before claiming an entire project (which you may never want to do... your choice).
Please do go ahead and listen. You are looking for stumbles, repeats, abnormally long breaks etc. You don't even have to read along with the text for standard proof listening. I will run the technical checks, although that is something more experienced proof listeners do themselves.
Just post any notes here, and I will mark the Magic Window for you.
Enjoy!

Thank you.

Lynnet:
The official title of the text is "Racing an Avalanche" -- maybe you need that for the cataloguing.

For St Stephen's Day, December 26:

The link from the uploader https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/cb0 ... _128kb.mp3

The file length in mm:ss 8:0
The title of the story. The Legend of King Wenceslaus
The author of the story with birth and death dates if available. John Mason Neale (1818–1866) was an Anglican priest, scholar and hymn-writer.
Link to the online text. http://www.gutenberg.org/files/34571/34 ... #bk5chap05

Historically, he was a Duke, but such a good man, that the Emporer made him a king posthumously(or because his brother made him dead). There's a statue of him in Wenceslaus Square, Prague.

It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
