Jim. Please do not be concerned. Your file is fine. the checker was developed before some changes were implemented and so we just ignore those things that pop up as errors but are not errors at all. Like the 128kb, that was added later. The file number does not match the section number because there is a section zero, etc. We don't ask anyone to fill in the meta data any more because that is done at validation, etc. The vast majority of readers do not use this program before submitting a file and so do not have these apparent errors to confuse them. The DPL (Proof listener) knows about them and pays no attention to the unimportant error messages. Thank you for being so diligent in going this extra mile but it can be confusing! Your file is fine. I am waiting for o ur DPL to listen to it. Ask if anything else is confusing.jimsvox4 wrote:Hi Phil
Here is Chapter 13 - passed with the following warning:
The file name does not appear to match the ID3 metadata:
The last name does not seem to match the artist ("robinson" versus "").
The section number does not match the title ("13" versus "lifestoryofablackbear_13_robinson"). Help
I'm not sure why this has come up as all the recordings I've sent through (as far as I know!) have been recorded, checked and sent using the same method. The checker also refused to pass it with the [_128kb] ending, so I removed that, and I tried a number of things to get it to pass - and the 'help' button did not help, by the way.
Otherwise it was passed for dB etc. Running time: 27:29.
