Here is Chapter 104

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/wildhuntress_104_reid_128kb.mp3

Time: 16:20

In Chapter 102, Marian indicated that she couldn't read or write - even her own name -- but, later, her younger sister, Lillian, apparently had no difficulty reading the note dictated on Marian's behalf. No explanation by Reid. Of course, Lillian's mother was white and perhaps more literate that Marian's, who was an Indian. But, after all, the two grew up together and Lillian could have taught her sister to read and write. Should I worry about such things? Probably not.

Don't worry about the inconsistencies of the story, there will always be some. I wonder sometimes if there were editors and proofreaders at that time to catch those mistakes. Thanks Russ!

Here is Chapter 105

Time: 22:50

I really wasn't concerned about the sisters' relative literacy. I was merely showing off my astute powers of observation.

I have enjoyed reading parts of The Wild Huntress. Sorry to have it end. I recorded both the 1st and last Chapters.

And quite powerful are your powers! This has been a fun story, all the Mayne Reid books have a lot of action in nice short chapters. Thanks Russ!

Chapter 88 needs a couple of edits.

The beginning silence needs to be cut down to .5 second, it is currently at 3 seconds.

At the end, 8:23-:27, you give the ending for the final section of the project, "End of The Wild Huntress, by Thomas Mayne Reid." That needs to be edited out since this is not the last section. Please make sure to keep the end silence at around 5 seconds.

Make sure, when you upload this section again, to use the correct file name, wildhuntress_088_reid_128kb .

I am listening to your other sections, right now I know that the volume for the other three is low. I will post a new post for each one.
