Detailed Instructions for accessing the Magic Window can be found in the document linked here:
Instructions for Soloists

Video showing how to use the Magic Window (read the above document first - it has the information on how to log in for the first time, which this does not have):

When you upload a chapter, put the file duration (mm:ss) in the Notes field and the uploaded URL into the Listen URL field, and mark it from Assigned to Ready for PL. :)

Section 1
Duration 14:10

Let me know if you don't like the voices, or anything, for that matter. Once I get started and remember how to use audacity, etc. recording gets easier and easier. I'm pressing on, but I can redo this.

FYI, my current method of sound improvement is to remove noise, edit, amplify, remove noise again, final edit.

Thanks!

Thanks Mrshand! I hope you're feeling well!

I'll keep going with the recording/editing style and voices, then.

Thanks again,

Hello team,

I have a question/problem concerning what I believe to be a typo in the original text. Do we read the nonsense, correct it, correct it and add a reader's note, or other fix?

Here is the specific text:

Original: "You think the murderer chalked up the hand after the murder as a sort of 'melodramatic Italian assassin his mark' touch."

Probable intent: "You think the murderer chalked up the hand after the murder as a sort of 'melodramatic Italian assassin's mark' touch."

Any help appreciated!
Thanks,

I think you can go ahead and read it the way you think it was supposed to be. We have a "read the text as written" policy, but that more applies to removing terms that are objectionable nowadays, or adding one's own commentary.

Hi everyone. I've had a bad cold, making my voice unusable for recording. Sorry for the delay.
