Hi and welcome to librivox!

You are welcome to read that section. To be able to sign you up, i need to know under which name or pseudonym you would like to appear in the catalog. We can also link to your personal website or blog.

I see you have already completed your one minute test, so your catalog info is now all that i need :) thank you!

I’d like to read the last available, helping complete this puppy: #8, Brakje.

On pronunciation, unless someone corrects me I would say, ‘BRAKee,’ but really have no clue other than a similar word in the text, ‘kopje,’ meaning a small hill, that is pronounced ’KOPee’

Mais je ne sais pas

Hiya, looks like i overlooked your post, sorry about that but thank you for claiming :D

The story is set in SA, so maybe the name is afrikaans which is close to dutch and in Dutch youd pronounce it Brak-yuh or something like that, im no good at phonetic spelling. but id say just pronounce it as you like best. While you read, hes your dog and you get to pronounce his name :D

Thanks, Carolin. That makes sense on the pronunciation. In the end I went with brackee because it sounds friendly.
