The Judgement of Valhalla by Gilbert Frankau (1884 - 1952).

This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-judgement-of-valhalla-by-gilbert-frankau/

Gilbert Frankau was a prolific and popular British novelist who wrote both in prose and verse and had fifty works published over a fifty year period. He is considered one of the war poets of World War I. This collection of his poems, published in 1918, reflect his experiences which included fighting in some of the major battles of the war at Loos, Ypres and the Somme. ( Nemo)
  1. Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/53756
  2. Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

OK, we'll move to going solo to keep the launch pad tidy.

Nemo - once you post the first section for PL, please be sure to send a PM to Eva so she can find the thread and get subscribed.

Hello MaryAnn, thank you for setting this up. I'm subscribed and checking in as DPL.

We've been at the hospital the past few days and Nemo will not be on for a while.

Thanks,
Eva
