You're welcome, MaryAnn. Before I even brought it up to you, I looked it up on several sites, to see if maybe I was mistaken, and that it might be a new word in French? But none of my searches showed that word. Google kept asking me if I actually meant "traduit."
Then I thought it might be an ancient French word that I knew nothing about? (Even though I have studied Rabelais' works in Old French).
Then I asked Kitty, because she is DPL in 21 projects. She confirmed there is no such word, and she suggested that I let an admin know that it needs to be changed. It was probably originally entered by someone who didn't know French grammar that well. There are made-up words everywhere now, and sometimes, people don't know the difference.
Anyway, I didn't want to make any changes in my reading of the intro without consulting with you first.
Thanks!

Introduction ready for PL https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/aliceaupays_00_carroll_128kb.mp3
Time 4:22.5

all right Linda, I will do DPL job after all. It seems like a fairly short story and I already know you will not have many errors anyway , so I guess I can squeeze in the time somehow.

and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

all right, I had a bit of time to listen to the introduction. As expected, super well read with great feeling and emphasis in the right places. I didn't even know there was a poem at the beginning of Alice. To be honest, I only read excerpts and not the entire book in English yet. Well, I will listen to it first in French then
I only found one tiny error here, but maybe my ears are misleading me, have a listen whether you agree:
> at 12:13: “donne l’ordre de commencer” – I hear “dont l’ordre”
the rest is fine. Looking forward to the next chapter
I don't have MW access yet, so I cannot change the status for the time being.

Yes, I heard that "dont" too, instead of "donne." I will change it today.Kitty wrote:all right, I had a bit of time to listen to the introduction.
