The policy at LV is to read each book as it is written. Consequently the footnotes that you included need to be removed. Perhaps David, ur MC can suggest another solution to the figures.

OK. No problem. I can remove them. I was just going by what another MC commented to me in the Launch Pad or Book Suggestions thread. I forget which one it was now. She suggested that I do it. But I will remove the footnotes, then.
I'll upload the corrected one tomorrow.

I can still understand what the author is describing without the footnotes (But I had the advantage of seeing the figure). There will be a link to the e-book for those wanting to see the figures.

Yes, I think it's a good idea to provide a link to the actual link so the listener can see the illustrations. Im actually so relieved that I'm not supposed to do these footnotes. If you'll check on the Launch Pad post for my Flatland project, you'll see that TriciaG made the suggestion for the footnotes. But I'd rather just read the text as it is.

Thank you so much for your time and dedication, Dave!

Sorry I missed this exchange, but to what are you referring? I checked both text sources (with images & no images) and saw no 'figures' referred to in the text. :hmm:
Unless somehow I cannot see the images up here in Canada.

David,
You are right in that the source e-text ("with images") does in fact not have any images. They are referred to in the text though (from section 1, "Figure 1 represents the Tradesman as you would see him while you were bending over him from above; figures 2 and 3 represent the Tradesman..."). The text is being read as found in the source text (without the addition of any prose describing the absent figures).
