The recording is clear and easy to listen to. Also a great job on the interesting footnotes as well as your pronunciations.

I can listen to sections 3 and 4 either Friday or Sat.
I have other books I'm listening to and I actually have a volunteer job that forces me to leave my house!
Probably a good thing, but working in pajamas from home is my favorite!

Sections 3 and 4 are PL and very good. Thank you for making my job so easy!

What wonderful glimpses of Japan from a time and place that seems like a dream away.
I'm so glad to be able to help with this project and get an introduction to Lafcadio Hern.

Hi Margot,

the final two sections are in!
Sorry for the delay, it's been a bit busy...

I have changed the cutoff for the first file a bit - it's now in the middle of part IV - because it would have been much too long compared to the second part. Also, there is no part VI for some reason, probably a mistake with the old roman numerals.

Thanks for telling me about the missing section VI. I even looked an another edition of the book and it is missing there too. Strange!
