Carolin -

Can I please sign up for these Sections? 14, 19, 21, 22, 26, 29, 31, 33, 35

I see there is a play in the recordings for this book - I would like to sign up for 40 - Rosetta. How are those recordings done? Do I just record all of Rosetta's lines one after another with a gap between each one such as 2 or 3 seconds? Is there information on Librivox on how to do these types of recordings?

Many thanks!

Thank you lynda!

Recording lines for a play is easy. You start with "[role] by [you]" and then read the lines for that character. Make sure you read the whole thing first so that you can act your lines a bit, but nothing big is required. Also, make sure you leave some seconds between your lines to make it easier for the editor, and amplify and noiseclean normally.

See also the first post
The Play

• the narrator reads the intro and outro
• please begin your recording with [role] read by [you]
• name your file wonderbook_roletitle.mp3 roletitle being replaced with your character name, obviously.
• feel free to volunteer as editor

Please remember to check this thread frequently for updates!
And let me know if i can help you with anything :)

I got all confused about section 2, i see that 2 and 3 are mixed up jn the table of contents of the book. Im glad you found it alright lynda

I have a little pl note for you, the first line should have a double "where are you, where are you", one is missing :)

You can also use the poetry disclaimer for this one if you like. Thanks!
