Carolin:

I'll volunteer to edit the play. This should be fun!

Many thanks,

Philip

Yikes, recorded my corrections and forgot to submit. I think I've got the missing lines for Alfred:

Carolin:

The editing of the play is going fairly smoothly. I'm currently tracking down the last of a few lines that appear to have been inadvertently left out (but I am re-listening to all parts to be sure I haven't overlooked anything). The readers have all done excellent work and I think the finished product will be very engaging.

I don't seem to find a section to upload the finished edit. Is it possible the MW could be enlarged by a section? Toward the end of the piece--there is an area where the narrator reads a stage direction that Felix, Alfred and Rosette exit shouting hide and seek. Two of the readers have added "hide and seek" in their voices and one has not. It seems redundant to have it in the stage direction and in the voices as well...guidance?

I hope to have the edit finished tomorrow or possibly Tuesday and know for certain whether there are still missing lines.

Many thanks for all your help.

Can't remember if I included "hide and seek" or not, but I'll check.
Finished play goes in Section 23, I think.

This will be fun to listen to. :)

From my perspective, you can clip out anything from the narrator lines that you don't' think you need. I read some stuff just to be sure you have it available if needed.

Larry--

Thanks for the "heads up" on Section 23. I just overlooked it. I do have "hide and seek" from Alfred.

Mary Ann--

Thanks--I think what might happen is that the first part of the stage direction stays intact and the part referring to "hide and seek" gets clipped.

I know you are anxious to hear the final result--so I'm redoubling my efforts.

I appreciate your guidance.

Do 37, 40, and or 41 need PL? In the thread I think Philip is or has done them but then there is the MW listing. :?

Linny:

I'm PL-ing as I'm editing (and I'm about 3/4 of the way through that process). So far, only a couple of lines missing--but if it's ok--I'll just deal with that when I get finished with the edit. If you wish to go ahead and PL-them--ok by me.

(This is probably not Librivox protocol--but this is my first editing project--ever--so I'm smashing into things as I go :) ) Hopefully, I'm not creating too much havoc.

Many thanks
