you are signed up! :D

dont worry, it isnt your fault that things were slow, i see that you had already posted once before that you would like to be credited as sadie and i just overlooked it because i got confused about your forum name(s)

all difficulties should be over now though, because you have a good test recording and a catalog page, so you can claim and record normally like everyoen else :)

Thanks for all your help Carolin. I got that other account deleted and I know what to do with my audio now so I should be all set to record. Now I just need to learn to read some French :D

I'm struggling with my recording!

Whenever I try to convert it into MP3 files in audacity it says could not locate LAME - whatever that means!
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thank you

A common problem :)

Follow this guide closely http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Audacity_1-2-3

And please complete your test recording to be sure it worked http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Thank you

If you prefer to watch a video, this shows how to use LAME - specifically, it's useful for seeing how to download the encoder as there's a lot of adverts on the page and this shows where the link is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99uOkzzLbHE
