Here is the Story of Robin Hood and the King.
My name for the catalog is aniroo
This is my second story submission so I expect there to be some stuff to fix, but I am getting the hang of it, so I should be able to fix it. It is a very short piece, so I could do the whole thing over if needed.
you read this very nicely. Thank you. Unfortunately the microphone placement was a bit of a problem. In headphones I can hear a lot of plosives or breath noises. There are too many to try to fix, so I reluctantly am asking you to re-record this section (fortunately it is fairly short!). You want the mic to be out of the direct line of breath. If you hold your hand in front of your face and say "puh" over and over, you will get an idea of where the air is going, and where you do NOT want the mic to be (your mic is MUCH more sensitive than your hand). One solution is to move the mic to one side and talk past it, so it still picks up your voice but the air does not blow across it. Personally I have pretty good results with placing the mic about 9" away and above the level of my nose, as my breath tends to go down. But your solution will depend on the type of mic you are using. If you have questions you can ask them here or you can send me a PM and I will try to help. Sorry!
Also, please be sure that the silence at the start of the recording is at most 1 second (a little shorter is fine), and the silence at the end is about 5 seconds (say, between 4.5 and 5.5 seconds).
Thank you for reading for librivox and especially for reading for this project!
