[COMPLETE]Popular History of Astronomy, Clerke-icequeen
Wathgwen wrote:Hi, I've not only been struggling with some technical issues but with massive nervousness with recording, as well. Not had a ton of time lately to relax and feel comfortable before trying to record, so that's been compounding things. I was wondering if it'd be possible to get an extension, and if anyone has any hints for first-time recorders to get over their self-consciousness!
I don't know if you've listened to many of the recordings in the catalogue, if not, give it a try. Listen to them while you're doing something boring like doing the dishes or folding the clothes. You'll hear a wide variety of styles and skill levels. That might help you realize that everyone is better than someone and not as good as others, then do what sounds best to you. Realize that you are not as good as you are going to get with out practice

May I read section 8 if it has not been already claimed?
Toya.
Sorry, Toya, section 8 was claimed 5 minutes before you made your claim. Keep a watch on this project, there may be some sections opening up if the reader does not complete their sections by their deadline.

Such a gross misrepresentation of the data could send one off into the depths of space, lost forever.

That is so true! Like in the Dune series, if your data is off when folding space, you could end up in a sun instead!
