Hey Victor, thanks ! Your Keeper is high dramatic  but that's really cool for this scene, as it probably enhances the comedy here. And your FOUGH ! is absolutely marvellous, you really sound like you meant it LOL

Well done, and PL ok. Great !

Hi Todd,

I would like to take on reading the stage directions for this play. Sonia helped clean up by test so my set-up is ready to go for this.

Best,

oh hi again Elizabeth :) great that you want to join this project. Since it is your first shot at drama, here a few things, that may be helpful.

Please leave at least 2-3 seconds of silence between each "chunk" you have to read. Todd will have to copy/paste each bit out of the original file and paste it in the correct spot in his masterfile. So it's helpful if you leave enough cutting out space.

You need to read carefully through the text, to find all the stage directions, so basically everything that is not being read by a character. (example: "closes door" or "laughs", things like that). Often they are in brackets, but maybe not always.

If you read a character-description right at the beginning of the character's speech, you need to read the name of the character as well. While when the direction shows up in the middle of a speech, you don't have to read the name.

example: John (putting down the book): Now listen to me... (closing the door)...I need to tell you a secret.

Here you would have to read all that I marked in red. So the name in the beginning, but not repeated in the middle.

If you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, have fun recording. I can have a listen to your first act, before you start out on the second, to check, if you wish. :)

oh and I forgot to ask. Since you don't have a reader page yet, I need to know what name you would want to be registered with. Can be the same than your forum name, but also your real name or other pseudonym, if you wish. For example, my forum name is Kitty, but I read under my real name Sonia.

Linda !! I completely missed your first post

Ok it's a bit late now for PL...I'm tired. But will do it first thing in the morning. Thanks so much. Looking forward to your débauché performance (I bet it is one  )

all right, Tailbush (since you don't care for Madam), here we go

I loved the nonchalant way you spoke for most of the time, it makes a great contrast to how shocked she is at the end when she witnesses the exorcism. But for most of the play, she is the lady in charge, not so unlike Gaylustre actually. This is Gaylustre in a previous life I would bet.

No errors found and nothing missing as far as I can see. There is just one part in Act 4 that you can cut out, as it's spoken by someone else:

> 5:53-5:56: (p. 317 top): "Ha! what is't, say'st thou ?" this can be cut out, as it's Meercraft saying this after Train's whispers to him

Act 5 is PL ok right away.

Good job, Linda  thanks
