Thanks - I will PL that.

Todd
All of Eliante is PL OK. Nicely done; can't imagine why Phil doesn't notice her 4 acts earlier and save everyone some grief.

Thanks, Todd

I think the problem was more: she didn't notice Phil ;)

I'd like to claim Clitandre, if the role is still available, that is?

Oronte Act 1 PL ok  I could really see the scene developping before my inner eye here. The part where he constantly interrupts himself after the word "Hope" is absolutely priceless  Really well characterized. I think it was a great choice that you decided to do Oronte, because I like your voice for that part. :9:

Looking forward to the next Act...only pity he isn't in more often

Here are the stage directions. I did not read the character names at the start of each scene; however, if it's needed, I certainly can go back and add them. Also, I fear my name pronunciation may be way out of whack, so please let me know of I need to fix that too!

Thanks. I confess that I really do like having the names at the start of each scene - really helps the reader understand who is there.

Thanks for the files, Kristin :)

Sorry, the notes package looks huge this time, but apart from one or two errors, it’s basically only the names in the scene announcements, that you missed and which would be good that we had in there. Below, I gave you the pages to find them easier.
Also, I fear my name pronunciation may be way out of whack, so please let me know of I need to fix that too!
Question for Todd: I notice the names are not read in French, but that doesn’t matter does it ? As long as each person reads them consistently, that is.

For example, Kristin now reads them all the Italian way with the final ‘e’ pronounced. Although, some do sound quite different than the French ones (example: Celimayne versus Celimenny). Do you think this will confuse listeners ? On the other hand I haven’t heard the other readers yet, so unless we get a sound file out, we might have discrepancies there.

Notes for Act 1:

> at 0:01: I think it’s better to start with the intro disclaimer “Act 1..etc” and not with the Dramatis personae straightaway. Could you cut and paste the disclaimer right to the beginning, please ?

> for the Dramatis Personae, could you please read out all of the names, with their attributes as on page 191 (e.g. “Alceste, in love with Célimène, read by…” etc)

> at 0:31: Scene 1: names missing (p. 193)
> at 0:48: Scene 2: names missing (p. 199)
> at 2:15: Scene 3: names missing (p. 205)

Notes for Act 2:

> at 0:20: Scene 1: names missing (p. 205)
> at 0:24: Scene 2: names missing (p. 208)
> at 0:30: Scene 3: names missing (p. 208)
> at 0:34: Scene 4: names missing (p. 209)
> at 0:43: Scene 5: names missing (p. 209)
> at 1:31: Scene 6: names missing (p. 215)
> at 1:43: Scene 7: names missing (p. 215)
> at 1:46: “Alceste, going to meet the guard” (p. 215) – you say “to the guard”, which makes it a strange sentence

Notes for Act 3:

> at 0:19: Scene 1: names missing (p. 216)
> at 0:24: Scene 2: names missing (p. 218)
> at 0:30: Scene 3: names missing (p. 218)
> at 0:36: Scene 4: names missing (p. 219)
> at 0:47: Scene 5: names missing (p. 219)
> at 0:54: Scene 6: names missing (p. 223)
> at 1:00: Scene 7: names missing (p. 223)

Notes for Act 4:

> at 0:19: Scene 1: names missing (p. 226)
> at 0:25: Scene 2: names missing (p. 228)
> at 0:34: Scene 3: names missing (p. 230)
> at 1:05: Scene 4: names missing (p. 234)

Notes for Act 5:

> at 0:19: Scene 1: names missing (p. 236)
> at 0:24: Scene 2: names missing (p. 239)
> at 0:35: Scene 3: names missing (p. 240)
> at 0:42: Scene 4: names missing (p. 241)
> at 1:22: Scene 5: names missing (p. 243)
> at 1:31: Scene 6: names missing (p. 243)
> at 1:46: Scene 7: names missing (p. 244)
> at 2:04: Scene 8: names missing (p. 245)

pooh, finished LOL

I have no problem with different pronunciations, so long as each reader is consistent in their own files. We have a global cast and our audience should find that to be a wonderful thing.

Thanks, Todd
