At 8.25 (and elsewhere) I hear Demeter.

I'm so glad this correction wasn't Persephone. I stumbled over her name time and time again.

Full sentence replacement - (7:42-7:47) Demeter had the care of all the plants, fruits and grains in the world.

I also replaced this area - (14:24 - 14:35) Apollo saw her and rose higher and higher into the sky. A gentle breeze came rustling from the southeast, and whispered something to everything he met.

Lynda,
I'd be happy for the help and I'm sure MaryAnn would be as well. Thank you for helping out.

Did you have any questions on the 'special PL' items?

Hi Linny -

With regards to the "special PL" is that where you are reading the page numbers in the text? Or did you decide not to do that?

I read the beginning of the comments where you, Nemo, Tricia and Mary Ann were discussing it.

Also I do understand that you are reading based on the TOC not the order the book was compiled. :)

Hi Lynda,
No I'm not reading the page numbers. I decided against that. For special I'm looking for all the standard items as well as mispronunciations and word changes impacting intent. For instance I changed Hades from lonely to lovely.

That makes total sense to me. This is a junior book so you definately want the words to be correct for intent!

Let's just try and see if I PL like you want me to and if not then you can advertise for another one?

Hi Linny -

Insect Stories and Sun Myths are PL OK based on Mary Ann's comments.

Hi Linny!

Section 9 is PL OK!

There were no words that changed the meaning of the text in this section!

Excellent reading - you have such a calm, smooth voice!

If you can update the MW please as I do not have access that would be awesome!

Thank you for the PL work. I’ll take a closer look at the notes tomorrow and find the text you are referencing. What does s/b stand for?

Lynda will you be able to spot check early next week for me? My internet is down and I’m linking my iPad from my phone but I can’t do the same with my computer for uploads. If I can wait until the repair folks get here Monday afternoon everything would be a lot easier.
