Great! Everything looks good tech-wise, the recording is mono and has all the right bit-rates. The only issue is that the volume is a tiny bit low at 86.5 dB, but I 'm only pointing this out because you want to make sure you don't go lower than that. You have no 'plosives and you have a great reading voice! So, I think I am going to turn you loose and let you record! You are good to go, have fun!

I am about halfway through. The phrasing is a bit awkward but I am getting used to it. The story is pretty topical to today's politics.

No problem, thanks for checking in and letting me know how you're doing. Now, I can't wait to hear your story!

Section 7 needs a few, easy edits.

There were some stumbles and missed edits that need to be cut out, and a long silence that needs to be shortened.

8:04-:09 stumble
12:31-:39 repeated sentence
12:58-:59 stumble
14:20-:24 long silence, just needs to have 2 seconds clipped out of it, then it will not seem so long
15:06-:09 stumble

Those are easy fixes, great job reading this story!

Hi,

That was easy since the stumbles were all repeated sentences that missed getting cut out. Took care of the silence gap too. Here is the new upload. https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/brokenshaft_7_norman_128kb.mp3

I was hoping that we would finally be full, but section 4 is now open since the claim was more than 2 months old.

I can read section 4, if you like. And you can move us to readers found.
