Hello,

I would live to read the following two sections, if agreeable. They are: How the Swift Came to Build Aunt Dorothy's Chimney, & A White Table in the Woods.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Tim. Welcome to LibriVox. I've assigned you sections 8 and 10 as requested. Once you get your 1 minute test ok'd, you can go ahead and get started. Meanwhile if you haven't already done so, please read through the first post in this thread for the details specific to this project. I'll also need to know by what name you would like to be credited in the catalog. Thanks!

Hi Burnse005. I've signed you up for section 14.

As this will be your first recording for Librivox, please have a look at the NewbieGuideToRecording and also read carefully through all the notes in the first post of this thread if you haven't already done so.

We also highly recommend that you send in a short test recording to check that all the technical requirements are good before recording a full chapter.

I'll also need to know by what name you would like to be listed in the catalog. If you have a personal website, that can be linked as well.

Thanks and welcome to Librivox. :)

Hi Jo,

My one-minute test was approved!!! :D

This is the link to Section 10 - A White Table in the Woods. I am still working on Section 8.

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/birdsandnaturedec1900_10_various_128kb.mp3

I noticed that the word count was incorrect. It says 126 words, but actually I believe it was 823 words. I'm not sure if that matters are not on the forum board for Birds and Nature. Just letting you know in case it does. The recording is 5:26 minutes.

I appreciate you and any feedback you would like to give me. :)

My catalog name can be Tim Watkins.

My forum name is tbwatkins89.

Thanks,
Tim Watkins

Jo,

I would like to also read Section 5, The Sunrise Serenade. After studying it, I believe I can do a good job with that one in dialect.

Let me know.

Thanks,
Tim Watkins
