This is the first time I've applied some EQ to one of my Librivox recordings. 044 has EQ applied, the others don't. If it's not too much to ask, could the PL please tell me if they think that 044 sounds better or worse than the other two?

(Should I ask this in the help and advice forum? I thought it efficient to ask here as the PL will listen to the poems in any case.)

Note: It's not a mistake that I've only recorded three of the four poems I've signed up for. I'm leaving the Shakespeare for another day :)
All are PL OK.

As for the EQ, I can hear a difference, but I don't think it sounds any better or worse than the others.

20, 82, 136 and 139 are PL OK.

For 128, at 0:24, there's a noticeable gap between 'should' and 'do'

Also, not a PL note, but I have to say that I don't think I've ever come across a poem like Pippa's Song, where the rhyme scheme is ABCDABCD. Looking it up now, it seems to be know as 'Rimas Dissolutas' or 'Troubadouric song'.

All fixed. I didn't like how it sounded with a cut-out so I rerecorded that line. It's reuploaded.

I did notice it felt different when I was recording it. So interesting and I thank you for your research!

On a similar note - here in Panama we have 'trovadores' and there frequently are 'Retos de Trovadores' (Troubador Challenges) and there was even a TV show on a national station here a few years ago. I just went and listened to some of it, but they use an ABBA scheme in their verses, or at least the ones that I listened to just now did. I have never been to see any of the shows live, as they are in places that I don't frequent, but I have watched them on TV before.

All are PL OK, though I will note that at 00:11 of section 195, 'but a few' should be 'but few'.

I'll leave it to you if you think it's enough of a change to need correcting.

Oh, and I'm sure you know, but 'niggard' has nothing to do with the word you think it does, and actually means 'miser'.

Group = not a solo, meaning anyone may claim an unclaimed section.
OPEN = a group recording where there are still unclaimed sections.
solo = one person is recording the whole thing.
:D Please ask if anything at all is confusing.
