Hi Sarah,

Both are PL OK, but the volume is possibly a little too high. 164 is 91.5 dB, and 170 is 92.0 dB, which is right on the cut-off point. So, you might want to de-amplify them by -3 dB.

What a weird error for me to make. But it is now fixed.

Hi,

I've been trying to upload the re-recorded version but for some reason when I paste the link, the post picks up the link to the previous recording. Is it because the 2 recordings have identical names?

No, they should h ave the exact same file name. The last uploaded file will replace the one already there (and keep the earlier one, just renaming it.)

Thanks for your feedback Phil. I still find the older version selected when I upload.

The link above takes me back to the older version.

When I add an extra underscrore before 224 to the exact same file, then it recognizes it as a new file.

This link is the final version [2:12]

I hope I've not confused you. I just thought it might help to bring it to your attention

Looking forward to your feedback Jordan.

Hi H2V2H,

Both of those files are the same for me.

The corrections I asked for have all been done, but it is way too quiet now. It's at 81.6 dB, when it should be about 89 dB. Pure amplification won't work (it would cause clipping), so you might want to try Leveller.

EDIT: Yippee! the latest file is fine and should get a PL OK from our DPL !!! Thank you for being so patient with this process; I can see that you h ave uploaded this file about 14 times/ well success comes at last.
EDIT2: I hope I am not being premature in this. There are some strange files in the uploaded.

Please do NOT upload a file with a new file name; it confuses the system and it confuses me (although I admit that I am much easier to confuse!). In other words, when correcting a file, save it with the exactly same file name as the file it is to replace, then upload it. Our special uploader area will automatically use the newest file as the correct one, pushing the older one aside. If you make another name, like adding an underscore or something, our system will assume it is another file for another section and insert it into the matrix, keeping the other wrong file and causing the numbering system to go awry. yeah, I know it is confusing. The simplest thing is just to ose the exact same filename when uploading a correction. This way you can 'fix' a file many times and the newest upload will always be the one used.

so if you increase the volume, use the same file name. Ask if all this is just confusing and we will help you work your way through. I will download your latest and see what it sounds like. Maybe it is just fine, eh?
