thank you Mayah, yes I spot PLed both and they are all perfectly PL ok now. I see you even corrected that small missing word :)

Nastya, did you contact the last reader (ozdefir) ? If he's not around anymore (last post was in July :hmm: ), I could also edit his section, because we don't need any new recordings from the reader. It's just a volume issue and a copy/paste of two lines to another spot in the poem. I could do that, if someone else Spot checks it. That way, we can wrap this up :)

Sonia
I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

Title of work: Mem û Zîn, Chapter One
all right, I took it upon me to correct the Kurdish contribution, to bring this project to a close before the end of year ;)

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/m ... _128kb.mp3
Recording time: 3:40 min.

If someone could Spot PL this section, that would be great. Here's what I did:
kitty wrote:> All your technical specifications are ok apart from the volume, which is 93 dB, and that is a bit over our desired limit. We accept recordings between 86 to 92 dB, with a preferred average of 89 dB. So if you could decrease your volume by at least 2 dB, that would be totally perfect.
1) I reduced the volume from 93 down to 90 dB
kitty wrote:> at 2:31-2:41: the following couplets have been read the wrong way around. Second couplet is placed before first couplet in your recording:
(1.) Evrenge felek hemî mu'ezzem
Evçende melek hemî mukerrem

(2.) Ev karegeha 'ezîm û dewwar
Ev baregeha bedî' û seyyar
2) I swapped the places of the two couplets around, so they come in the correct order. Even without understanding the language, the reading was clear enough to hear which part was read when. It will be possible for anyone to Spot PL it :)

Thanks and Merry Christmas all of you :9:
