OK, 19-32 are re-uploaded with the correct bit rate. Just out of curiosity, how can you tell the bit rate of an MP3 file?

Cheers,

I usually use Checker - Sarah's husband wrote it , I just throw the files in and it gives the answers. But I would need to download the files. Sarah uses it (of course), Betty probably doesn't and I would not have for someone like you, I'd have just listened on line. I found out for this when I put them in the validator , it lists files with volume, bitrate, etc , flags missing number sequences and most but not all things that can muck the catalogue process up.

All done and catalogued
It is interesting that although Dickens sympaphised with the poor , it's always someone who was "better bred" that gets the happy ending in Victorian novels :D

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/oliver-twist-version-6-by-charles-dickens/

It was a pleasure working with all three of you, special thanks to Sarah for stepping into the breach, I hope Betty will be back on board soon and it was a pleasure working with Mil, hope she has so more Dickens on her to do list sometime

Truly a grand team from my perspective, I too hope Betty will be OK soon, perhaps we may gather again at some time on another project. Have a wonderful summer Annise, Sarah and Betty.
Kindest regards,
Mil
