I amplified the recording with Checker reporting a volume level of 86.7 dB. I resubmitted the file under the same name.

While we are wrapping things up for Section 7, I would like to claim the next chapter, Section 8.
How should extra reference information in brackets (e.g. "(Sec. 56)") be handled? The reading seems to flow better if they are omitted. See Pg 113 for examples.

OOOOOPs! I jmped the gun. I PLd on the link you posted here instead of the link in the MW. I noticed when I went to PL OK in the MW. I think I'll wait to give it the PL OK until the new link is posted in the MW. Sorry, anirooaniroo wrote: ↑August 11th, 2018, 8:02 amSection #7 PL OKkleungcanada wrote: ↑August 10th, 2018, 11:16 pm I amplified the recording with Checker reporting a volume level of 86.7 dB. Hm, I'm looking at the references in brackets. Let me check something, I'll answer tomorrow!
Thank you for being prompt -- and adhering to procedure I appreciate it! The MW is updated now

Please include the references in the brackets when you read Since it is in the text (as opposed to a footnote or an endnote), I'd like to keep it in the recording, too. Thank youkathrinee wrote: ↑August 11th, 2018, 9:52 pmGreat, thank you!kleungcanada wrote: ↑August 10th, 2018, 11:45 pm While we are wrapping things up for Section 7, I would like to claim the next chapter, Section 8.

Thanks for finding out how to handle the texts in brackets. I actually did the recording just before I checked this forum. I added those parts in place. I believe the approach works nicely because of the very slightly different tones. Let me know what you think.

Checker output:
Volume: 91.3 dB
Length: 15:27

I'm going to give Section 9 - Chapter 7: Confessions of Wall Street a try.
This chapter has a number of letters and some long lists of names. I will fight the temptation to do different voices for the letters, and I will try not to butcher the names too much.

Just a few little issues before I OK this section. at 8:58 and on a little bit longer there is the name i read as Piatt. You read it as Platt. Int he letterhead it reads as PIATT in all caps, but latter on, it is Piatt. His signature is illegible, but I think it is Piatt. If you think it is Platt, I'm Ok with that. It's on pate 81 of the text.lubee930 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2019, 9:08 pm So here it is:

There seems to be two letters that are completely skipped. On page 82, 9:26 andpg. 83, 12:36 the letters are referenced in the text. The cartoon on page 95, is probably OK to skip, but I think the letters have to be worked in somehow. I'm up for discussion if you disagree.
Thanks,
