Checking in for an update. I haven't done any work on this since my last post. I have a few other LV things I've been working on (I realized that I may have filled my PL plate a little full), and some real life stuff. Today and yesterday I had an excellent opportunity to record... Except that I don't trust my voice right now. The weather's changing, and my voice doesn't like it.

Chapter 57 is recorded! Woohoo!!!

Will try to do editing over the course of the next few days.

The unedited length is just under 1 hour and 10 minutes, so it will be a long section, but I think I'll probably not need to split it into two.

57 is ready!!!

Are you? Seriously, there are 20 solid minutes of nothing but Scottish. Not even a "he said" or "she said" thrown in there. That's not even counting the non-contiguous Scottish in the rest of the chapter.

You don't know how good this feels (or maybe you do). This was the chapter, when I was considering taking this project on, that made me think, "Maybe I shouldn't do this after all."

Well, Texas has got her dander up this week (if by dander you mean mold and ragweed), and my throat has been feeling it, but I stubbornly recorded anyway. I got through two and a half chapters before giving up, so chapters 60 and 61 are ready.

I've spent this past week catching up on all the little sections in various other projects I can't stop signing up for.

But I just managed to record another four and a half chapters for this one, which means that in a few days, I should hopefully be able to upload through chapter 67.
