When approved, this completes the book!

MaryAnn: For my next book, I would like to record "The Crossing" by Winston Churchill (the American novelist, not the English Prime Minister). It is listed in project Gutenberg, and not in Librivox.org., so it is apparently appropriate. It is a historical novel set in the Revolutionary War period. I find it a good read, fairly long, at 600 pages. It concerns the movement of the first of the southern colonists over the mountains, into Kentucky. The story has a broad sweep into the areas that would become Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Then down to New Orleans and other areas. It follows a fictitious main character, but includes real historic characters, as well. The book reviews of the time were quite good.

Bob,
I'd be happy to MC it with you. Let me know if you need any help setting it up on the launch pad. When you do post, just put my initials ("mas") in the title of the thread so folks know we are working together.
