Poor King Cophetua really, really, needs to listen to his mother.

"Viva Il Re Cophetua" was written on it in letters of pink sugar. It was truly a triumph of culinary art.

This is a group of great diaries. I can't wait to see it sail out to the world. Yours is awesome, Amy, and you also have a lovely voice (not very Maine though). :D

Hey Amy!

So, who would have thought that after hearing in my head, the voices of Ivan the Terrible, Hamlet, Marcus Aurelius, Emperor Titus and William the Conqueror, that the voice of a poor little 10 year old school boy stuck in an Industrial school for the poor, would be the voice that stymied me the most??

However, I think I finally got him .... hope you agree!

Hi Nemo,
You nailed it! Your pacing and voice of the boy brought him to life. PL OK.
Baring went everywhere with these diaries, didn't he?
Thank you!
Amy :D

Hi Nemo,
Yes! Just one more left.
Geesh, Mrs. James Lee's Husband has a poor view of women. I can't believe he said "irrelevant". No wonder she booked passage. He will soon discover how relevant she is I suppose.
That was great, Nemo. PL OK.
Thanks!
Amy

Yeah! ... school is out and Kalynda is back in the house! :)

Nicely done and PL OK! .... I loved how Maurice gave Iseult "of the White Hands", red hands in this and the part with the ship arriving with black sales instead of the white ones he expected carrying his former lover was great!

And with that, this project is complete!

I launched another Maurice Baring project in the short works forum. It is a collection of short stories named Orpheus in Mayfair.
It was wonderful working with you all. :D
