Thank you. I believe that reading from this old book will be a challenge.

But I need guidance with respect to the book pages I will be reading. The chapter on Justice runs from book pg. 106 to pg. 119. The Librivox instruction for my part "1" says: p117-123 (scanned pg 104-110) to "to the court of Cessation." The words "to the Court of Cessation" appear at the end of a paragraph on book page 112. So I plan to read from page 106 to page 112, ending after reading those words. Would that be correct:?

Hmm. I spot-checked some of the page numbers, but assumed that the 13-page differential was correct through all the book. Apparently it isn't. I need a weekend.

Yes, you're right - do page 106 to the end of that section on page 112.

EDIT: Ah - I found the problem. The scan is missing 2 pages. :(

It is short, so I thought I'd get started with the preface:

I have a question. I have the impression that the lead-in, i.e., "This is a Librivox recording, . . .etc." in included at the beginning of each Section/Chapter. If that is correct, my question is why? It would seem that it would only have to be there once at the very beginning of the work.

Every section, yes.

It's on each file for a couple reasons:

1. For the reader to release this recording into the public domain. With it on every file, every reader records it and acknowledges it. (One could say that we should just require it on the first section on each project that each reader does, but that would be a nightmare to keep track of.)

2. I believe that originally, files were not released as a whole, but each section was released separately. So it was important for the disclaimer to be on each file. Nowadays they're mostly distributed as a set of files, but if the files were ever separated, the disclaimer would be there.

I've recorded Section 2, but it may be a few weeks before I can edit and submit it. Hope to have it to you by the end of May or first part of June.
