I'd like to claim section 17, The Appeal. This is my first recording, and would like to appear as Jack Allan in the catalog.

Hmmmm. Looks as if there is only one poem left, so may I take 25?

Since it is just one short piece, I was able to sneak it in during a brief lull in the noise and activity this afternoon.

As this is my first true reading for LibriVox, please let me know if there's anything you'd like be to do differently.
And as I a newbie, I first uploaded it to the test site - oops! https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/lovepoems_17_lawrence_128kb.mp3. Maybe someone needs to know so they can delete it from there.

Thanks, Kathrine; I did enjoy reading them. I don't think I read any of Lawrence's poems before, my only encounter with him being the furtive and (I felt at the time) rather tedious reading of Lady Chatterley's Lover when I was at school over fifty years ago.

If we do meet again, why, we shall smile;
If not, why then, this parting was well made.

If not, why then, this parting was well made.
