Hello, could I please record for section 9, The Romance of the Beautiful Swede?

Section 2 - The 'Bonnie Prince's' Bride

Just one small issue. The volume is a little high at 92.9dB. It should be between 86-92dB. Just lower it a bit and re-up for the ok. Thanks!

Ok I tried using the Leveler in Audacity to fix the levels for chapter 2, and then I re-saved the file. I started to upload it, but it says that there's a syntax error at position 0?

I've never come across that one

It could be just a hiccup of the system and work if you try again today, or it could be a problem with the file name if there is a space in it or something. Try again and should it not work, re-export the file from audacity, that should fix it

Hi, the volume actually is higher now at 95.8dB. I am not a recording artist here, but I understand that it can sometimes be a little confusing how to use audacity. If you ask Carolin she can help you out I am sure. On the other hand, there is a wiki page that may help;

Then on another note, it may help to be able to test the dB of the files to save yourself some headaches. I use mp3gain and Librivox Checker. Links below;
