Here you are. Chapter 11: A Siren of the Eighteenth Century. Running time: 23:35.Carolin wrote:thank you so much vittoria!
A word about the way I pronounced Wilhelmine's name: Had it been spelled W-i-l-h-e-l-m-i-n-a, and had the story been set in an English-speaking country, I'd have pronounced the "W" the way we do in English. However, I suspected by the German spelling and the Prussian setting that it would be more appropriate to pronounce it the German way, with the "W" sounding like a "V". To check, I Googled the pronunciation of "Wilhelmine", and sure enough, the recording indicated the "V" sound, and added the word, "German."
Also, I say "quote" and "end quote" at every instance of quotation marks. This seemed correct.
Thank you. I hope you like the recording.
