I must say, I'm looking forward to hearing the final outcomes of those.

Just to verify--this is the old file which was PL-OK, right?
I think so, but I'm not positive.

Thank you for Crassus and for Sir Philip. I've updated the MW.

Hi,
There is a missing piece in the part of GRANDMOTHER: The line "You found it, Bessie? The key? Here, Peyton; come here." is missing.
I need that line to complete the edit. It is now cut together with space saved for the line.
Sorry to be a bother.

Tomas:

There was a plosive at the end of Crassus...but I was able to excise it and upload the file...so it is PL-OK.

This was the last part in the Crowley play. It is ready for editing. I'll PM ChuckW and let him know.

Many thanks

Jay:

I'm new around here, but I would PM the reader and let him know the lines you need so he can record and re-upload them.

Many thanks,

Philip

Tomas:

Sir Philip is PL-OK! Nicely done.

(I can't wait to hear the finished product in either play--either.)

Many thanks,

Philip

Considering we have almost all of George Farquhar's works in the catalog, I thought it would be fitting to do his short farce "The Stage-Coach" here as a way of completing the collection. The only catch is that the most usable version, located at https://archive.org/stream/in.ernet.dli ... 9/mode/2up is from a collection published in 1930. I just wanted to get someone's opinion as to whether this Archive source can be used before I volunteer to BC the play here. For my play The Gamester I am using a source that republished the play in the late 1940s, so perhaps an eighteenth-century play being republished in 1930 is also OK?

Alternatively one could use this copy from 1728  which unfortunately is less legible, for example it uses the long 's', which look like an 'f'. But it's feasible and definitely PD. One could at least countercheck whether the play is identical and then still use the other version to read and this one to PL.

I think we can do that, too. I did a cursory glance at a few pages of both and they seem to be aligning word-for-word. The 1728 version only uses one of the prologues, though, so I'd have to make a note of that for the narrator.

As I'd PL the files, I'd be able to refer to the older version without a problem, and those recording for the play could rely on the newer version to have an easier go of it.

Anyway, if this can go ahead, here is the cast list:

Narrator (a note should be added to only read the New Prologue)
Micher, uncle to the Squire
Captain Basil, in love with Isabella
Squire Somebody, a clownish country gentleman, pretender to Isabella
Macahone, an Irishman
Fetch, servant to Captain Basil
Tom Jolt, the stagecoach-man
Constable
Isabella, niece to Micher, in love with Captain Basil
Dolly, maid of the inn
