Hi CelloMan. Thanks for the interest. Have you done your 1 minute post yet to get acquainted with the system and the expectations? I will hold the sections for you, but the 1 minute test must be done first. If you need help on that, here is a link to the wiki page;

Thank you for the wiki page, that was VERY helpful. It took me some time and reading, but I uploaded the 1-minute test a few minutes ago and is available.
Thank you,

Great! Has anyone reviewed it yet? I think at that point the admin team can add you as a reader so I can assign sections for you.

I had some minor problems with my mic, but I switched to the internal one, which made it a lot clearer. I recorded the Preface to test out the sound, and it worked better. Is there anything else I should do before recording the main chapters?
Thanks,

Hi CelloMan, Thanks so much for doing that! It looks like now you will have to be added as a reader. I am not sure if Admin needs to do this, but I will try!

Hi Thomas. Thanks for volunteering! I have assigned your sections to you in the mw. As to your question...those are guides in the original scanned text https://librivox.org/section_compiler/11718thbosc wrote:Howdy,
I'll read 5, 6, and 7. This looks interesting.

EDIT: Should I read the gray boxes (in the HTML version) as section titles, or just ignore them?
I think they often did this kind of thing in the old texts to denote beginning and end sections of a page. Similar to a dictionary. You may omit them in your reading... unless you feel strongly that they should remain. I will not argue that. However, most other readers will probably read from teh plain text version which does not have these denotations.
Happy reading and thanks again! This story is very interesting!
