Can I check: I presume that I can't do H P Lovecraft's 'The Thing On The Doorstep' as while it's out of copyright in the UK, it isn't so in the USA. Is that correct?

It was published in 1933, and Lovecraft died in 1937.

Indeed, we cannot do that one. In the first post we have a link to a Lovecraft page. There we have a list with all the stories that are allowed.

At the end of the File there needs to be 5 seconds of silence, (not at the end of the story). Please add 5 seconds of silence after you say "End of The Alchemist", then re-upload with the same filename.

Your recording is almost perfect, but there is one problem.
You have background noise that can be eliminated.

Please do so, this recording deserves a better sound quality.
