Jim,
Sorry for the delay. A couple of new readers submitted work and I like to get them feedback as quick as possible.
The wealth and strength of a country are its population, and the best part of that population are cultivators of the soil. Independent farmers are every where the basis of society and true friends of liberty.
I love this. It’s such a shame general society no longer values this population.

PL notes for section 9:
Here are two word which didn’t match. I’ll let you decide if you want to change them.
16:30 - The Constitution has vested in the General Government an independent authority upon the subject of the militia which renders its action essential to the establishment or improvement of the system, and I recommend the matter to your consideration in the conviction that the state of this important arm of the public defense requires your attention.
I hear of

20:02 Various new suggestions, contained in the annexed report, as well as others heretofore to Congress, are worthy of your attention, but none more so than that urging the renewal for another term of six years of the general appropriation for the gradual improvement of the Navy.

No delay perceived. Besides, you are supposed to be on vacation. I see more and more I am re-writing the text and not catching it in my editing--'s up with that? I will, of course, fix those so as to conform to what Andy actually said.

Time off doesn't actually mean all vacation but yesterday I did manage to get travel arrangements confirmed. First vacation begins July 15th! I'm so excited. A week on the farm with The Grannies (Granny and her twin). With 12 grandchildren between them and even a few great-great grandchildren, getting a week of alone time with them is a rare treat. :9:

Section 10 is PL OK. Andy would be proud.

All good news. Thanks for the listen. I am finding these more interesting that I expected. I am reading these while I am reading Chernow's Alexander Hamilton. I am full of historical figures. Ciao!

That's a great link. Thank you for sharing.

I have a log of words I have had to look up due to LV readings. Now I don't feel so badly about the size of it.

I'm really glad to hear you are looking forward to the next project; Van Buren and Tyler. Each of Van Burens's are two sections each.
